Playing live this coming Friday and Saturday nights, as well as the following Friday and Saturday nights. The Fridays are both at Vintage, both with Mike Silvia rounding out a nice toasty duo. I don't know why it's toasty, it just felt right. Sat 11/15 I'll play the Tavern in Plainville solo (rarity eh?), and Sat 11/22 is Vintage, also solo.

Because of the confusion surrounding the W in "West Kingstown Rd", the other performers (Marjorie Thompson & Chris Monti, both excellent btw) got derailed on their way to the the Cappuccino Unplugged series at Courthouse Center for The Arts last Thursday night.

And so I sort of opened for all of us ... I got to do about five tunes by the time they arrived. It was a great little evening of music IMO, played to a tiny room that was full of attentive and nice people.

A Review
Well more like a quick recap

Played a set for a food festival in Taunton, some time around 2:30 indoors where the food was getting distributed to plates ... it was a great time. Saw Red Ed from Red Ed and the Undead walking around, but didn't see him perform. I saw Jan Luby perform though. Met Ronnie Ringquist but did not hear her play. I know all three of those people because of Rhode Island Songwriters Association., wouldn't you know. A fine organization. Everyone should have one.

So, the food itself, of course, like most food, was just great. I hope this food venture goes well for 'em .. loving food as I do.

Opened for Kristi Martel & guested during her sets at True Brew Cafe/Cornerstone Playhouse.

- Kristi's back from a national tour, and we had a ball ... a great show, and well attended by a respectful audience.

But this week I've written (and performed live!) a new song called "Civilized Dogs", and last night I wrote another new one called "Happen To Be In Between" ... or at least that's its title right now.

I've also got a song that I brought back from the dead by replacing a dumb verse with a nice guitar solo. :-) That one's called "The New, New Myths About Santa Claus" ... so with a little bit of luck I should have another EP before too long!

Here's some pointless, nonsensical optimism to offset other Monday things:

- It's not sunny in RI right now, but life is sunny! Because of the sun!

Here's another one:

- You only die once! Yeeeeeee-haw! Who needs to go through THAT twice, right?
